Vanilla From Tahiti is the premier purveyor of a wide range of the finest quality Tahitian vanilla bean products, including extract and ground vanilla powder. Our small-batch Tahitian vanilla products are 100% pure, natural, grain-free, gluten-free, allergy-free, sugar-free, vegan, kosher and non-GMO.

The Tahitian vanilla that we import is the answer to bulk-processed, additive-enhanced vanilla that most brands are producing. All of our products meet or exceed the highest standards in the vanilla industry.

We are a proud member of the Specialty Food Association.

The finest pastry chefs, chocolatiers and gelato makers from around the world choose Vanilla From Tahiti for its distinct floral and cherry aroma and flavors. The aroma is intense, the beans are in pristine condition, the powder is pure, and the extract is made with grain-free alcohol. Our vanilla is a direct connection to Tahiti, and to the senses.

About the Founders

Hiroyuki Furumoto (Hiro), a native of Japan, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. After spending several years working for Japanese and American engineering firms, Hiro immersed himself in the Tahitian vanilla industry and partnered with Peter Cohen to distribute vanilla in the United States. Hiro's extensive experience with international business law and traveling give him a unique perspective on the import/export business.

Peter Cohen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Econometrics from UC Santa Barbara. An avid traveler, Peter lived in Japan for five years where he attended a Japanese language program and taught English. In his free time Peter enjoys physical fitness, caring for his cats, going to the movies, reading, and maintaining his saltwater aquarium and Koi pond.
